Inspired by Rina Alcantara’s blue roses, I wanted to recreate my own ombre roses featuring one of my favorite polishes- OPI Miami Beet. I painted my nails with Miami Beet and then mixed it with white nail polish to create the ombre tones for the abstract rose petals.

I’ve had this polish for awhile but haven’t yet used it. It’s called Colour 3 by Essence. There’s polish on both ends and you can use each color individually or layer them to create a third polish color. I just used the golden brown glitter to dab some on my tips. It’s hard to tell but the base color is a stunning purplish/brown with flakies. The only downside to using this polish is the wand is difficult to use when painting since there’s a bottle of polish on it’s end. It’s so heavy! Other than that, I love this and can’t believe I waited so long to use it.
Essence Colour 3 Ticket to the Show and Front Row or Backstage?
Moonlit Cheshire by Vivid Lacquer is a lavender jelly base sprinkled with black, silver, and purple flakes, plus holographic black and fine silver and lavender glitter. The complexity and texture of it is really great. I used just one coat of Moonlit Cheshire over my gradient nails. So pretty! On sale July 13th!
