I’ve been so busy I haven’t painted my nails in ages much less photograph them. Also I’m trying out a new nail shape.

08.10.12 Sadie Slimy Stitches
I know with nail bloggers, you generally don’t know much about their private life outside of nail polish. Today, you’ll learn something about me. I live in Eugene, Oregon and we hold a pageant every year called The SLUG Queen competition and coronation. I am competing this year as Sadie Slimy Stitches. I have been working and campaigning towards winning the crown for the past 16 months. Today is the event! And here are my Queenly nails. Wish me luck!

01.10.12 At the End of the Rainbow
Bornprettystore.com sent me these rhinestones to review. I wanted to incorporate a lot of the gems into a design so I came up with a rainbow and pot of gold! The rhinestones come in a wheel with 12 colors (including black!) and are about 2mm big. They were easy to apply- I simply painted a clear coat on my nail and then used a dotting tool to pick up the gems and press them down into the clear polish. Once I finished my design, I applied another layer of top coat. The gems are bright and don’t feel like they’re coming off anytime soon. A great product for nail art enthusiasts!
I am not associated with Born Pretty Store in any way. This is my honest review.
